Humbledinger is run by filmmaking couple Joe and Marishka Bream who bring together their skills to make a range of films and videos for all platforms.
Humbledinger also employs a number of trusted camera operators, editors and animators to offer a full production package, whatever your next project may be.
Joe has worked in TV, film and video for the last fourteen years, specialising in online content since 2008.
He began as a runner and assistant director on a range of shows including Midsomer Murders, Sugar Rush and Derren Brown: Trick of the Mind. In 2006 Joe decided he wanted to have a more creative role in the industry and trained as a camera operator and editor.
Since then Joe has worked as a self-shooting director, lighting camera operator and editor covering a range of content including corporate videos, live events, promos, short films, music videos, news and documentary.
As a director of Humbledinger Joe brings his vast experience of creating content for a range of customers from multinationals to local businesses. Joe has a real knack for storytelling and loves to use his creativity, expertise and experience to make exciting and engaging videos and to please his customers.
Marishka began working as a freelance multimedia web and video journalist in 2011. She was awarded the prestigious Scott Trust Bursary by the Guardian and gained a First for her MA in Web Journalism in 2012.
Until 2014 Marishka was running her website Sheffield Unchained, which won Student Website of the Year for the Guardian's Student Media Awards in 2012, as well as Unheard Voices whilst also working for Humbledinger.
Marishka then decided to combine her journalism skills and knowledge with her love of filmmaking by focusing on making documentaries.
Whilst producing and co-directing Humbledinger's documentaries, Marishka also offers her web and video journalism skills to all Humbledinger productions through producing and researching films, as well as interviewing, editing and sound recording.
As a director of Humbledinger Marishka brings her experience as a multimedia web and video journalist and her passion for storytelling. She offers Humbledinger customers her knowledge of journalism and communicating a message through multimedia and online content to ensure their message is heard by the right audience.
